Users often want to know how to check their Android Jelly Bean tablet’s or phone’s specifications. The easiest way to check this is to visit the manufacturer’s website, locate your product, and then check its specifications. If, for some reasons, this information is not readily available, try the following workaround, which is not difficult at all and provides you with accurate information.
Step 1 – Click the Settings menu, and then click the About tablet option (if you are using a phone, click About phone option). The following information will be displayed: model name and Android’s version.
Step 2 – Tap Status to know the device’s serial number, remaining capacity of its battery, and device’s IP address.
Step 3 – Tap Storage to find out the total space of the device (the total space is less than the listed space of the device and is derived after the space occupied by the Jelly Bean system files is deducted from it. For instance, if the listed disk space is 16 GB and system files occupy 3 GB space, total space is 13 GB (16 GB – 3 GB).
You can also find out other information such as the network information or camera’s resolution by tapping the relevant button under the Settings menu.
As you protect your laptop from malware by using an advanced antivirus tool, you must keep your tablet safe by using a reliable tablet security tool.

Staff;
My wife has a ComStar 320GB 3.5″ External Hard Drive (HDE3320G) – Silver coloured. When I hook up teh USB cable and power cable, it does not show up on the laptop. There is power to the drive, and it does work on my PC.
The only thing that I can figure out is that because the laptop’s Operating System (OS) is Windows Vista Home Edition Service Pack 2 Build 6002 while the OS on my PC is Windows XP Home Edition.
Do you know if, by chance, there are updated or Vista drivers for my ComStar external hard drive that I can download and are free of charge?
If you or someone you know of, could help me out on this, I would appreciate your help emensely.
Thank you for any help that you or a friend can provide to me.
Take Care,
john
