Design

Installation

The installation process is ridiculously simple. If you use a router that includes WiFi Protected Setup, all you need to do is press the embedded WPS button on both of your devices—router and Linksys RE1000.

2. Insert the setup CD
3. Enter the network password

Range

In our test, we were impressed by its range. With this Wi-Fi extender, we observed, the data rates did not fall considerably when we moved 8-10 meters away from the router with considerable obstruction in between.

To conclude, Linksys RE1000 is a useful Wi-Fi extender. It helps you stay connected to the Internet even when you are a few meters away from the router.
