Internet Explorer 10, or IE 10, is the default web browser in Windows 8. It is also the latest version of Microsoft web browser. However, some websites don’t work with IE 10 and can only be accessed with older IE versions like IE 8. A workaround for such situations is available in IE 10. Let’s have a look at it.

Open IE 10 in desktop mode, and then press F12. Navigate to the Developer Tools located at the bottom. The Developer Tools menu bars contain two options Document Mode and Browser Mode. Click both one by one and select a previous version of IE in each. Another option is to use VMware or some other virtualisation software.
