Word 2013, no doubt, is much better than its previous versions. Among all the new features, the most remarkable is the feature that allows users to edit PDF files.
Earlier, to edit PDF files, one needed expensive software like Adobe Acrobat X Pro. However, now this can be done within the Microsoft Word utility.
Word 2013 not only allows you to open PDFs the same way you open .docx files, but it also allows you to make changes to them and save the changes. You can save a PDF file in the PDF format or other formats.
To edit a PDF in Word 2013, you need to perform the following steps:
- Open Word 2013
- Click the File menu, and then click Open
- Browse to the location where the PDF file you want to access is located, select it, and then click the Open button
- Make the necessary changes
- Once you’re done, click the File menu again, and then click Save As
- Select the format in which you want to save the file, and then click the Save button
An unforeseen error or a situation such as crashing of the hard disk can lead to loss of important files and data. However, with a reliable data recovery tool in hand, you can easily regain lost Word files, PDF files, and other data.
