Missing or ‘Driver not found’ errors are among the most common computer errors. They are also quite easy to resolve. These errors, in most cases, occur when:
- You are missing a driver
- You are using an outdated driver
- Your device driver is corrupt
Whatever the cause of the error, you can fix it by installing the latest version of the driver for the device with which you are getting the error. There are two ways of installing device drivers—manually and automatically.
You can install drivers manually via Device Manager. Alternately, you can download the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website and run the executable file. To update drivers automatically, use a driver update tool. Such tools offer a quick, effective, and reliable way of installing new drivers and keeping them up-to-date.
