Like all Notebooks, the Lenovo G570 Notebook will only function effectively if Drivers are kept up-to-date. Drivers allow the Notebook to communicate with peripheral devices and functions such as Audio and USB. The Lenovo g570 Notebook will have Drivers which are required for the effective functioning of:
- Audio
- BIOS
- Bluetooth
- Modem
- Camera
- Mouse and Keyboard
- LAN (Wireless and Ethernet)
- Security
- USB
- Video
If you are experiencing any problems such as USB device not recognized, bluetooth not working or no sound from your Notebook – then you may want to check if the problem is Driver-related.
The first thing to do when experiencing a problem such as the above with your Lenovo g570 Notebook, is to check the device itself. For example, if the problem is audio-related, go through the basics first and make sure that the audio is not muted. If the problem is with a USB device, check to make sure that the device works on another machine. If it does, then the USB is probably the problem and you can look at ruling out other problems (such as damaged USB port – you should be able to rule this out by doing a quick visual examination of the port itself)
When you have ruled out the more obvious causes for problems with your Lenovo Notebook, then you can look at the possibility of the problem being Driver-related. There is a simple test you can do for this. Go to our Lenovo Driver Download page and click the ‘download’ button to download our Driver Update Tool. Once the download is complete and the software installed you can run a Free Drivers Scan. This will provide you with a Drivers report which will indicate any missing, corrupt or outdated Drivers. You can then choose to find and manually update these Drivers yourself, or you can register the software and automate this process (this will keep your Drivers up-to-date and avoid similar issues in the future).
