Whenever you try to launch a game, the following message appears: “Failed to find a suitable display device”.

• Click the Windows icon on the taskbar
• Type ‘device manager’ in the Start Search box, and then press Enter
• In the Device Manager window, locate and expand Display adapters to view all installed display adapters
• Check if there is a yellow exclamation mark or a question mark under any display adapter. If yes, double-click that device to open its Properties dialog box. The error code 43 will appear in the Status box (under the General tab).

After you’ve confirmed the error code and the cause of the error, which in this case is some sort of problem with the display adapter driver, perform the following steps to fix the issue.

Uninstall your display adapter driver

Error code 43 usually occurs when your current display driver becomes corrupt. Replacing the corrupted driver with the latest display driver fixes the problem once and for all.

• Open Device Manager window (you can access Device Manager through the Control Panel window or open it directly by typing devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box or the Start Search box)

• Double-click the device that is giving the error
• Click the Driver tab in the properties dialog box
• Click the Uninstall button, and follow the onscreen instructions
• Restart Windows after the selected driver is uninstalled
