The 2001 Report
on Company Motoring conducted by Lex Vehicle Leasing found was aimed
at surveying the differences between male and female drivers, but found roughly
similar rates of aggressive behavior. According to the Ananova story
46% of women and 55% of men company car drivers have verbally abused or gestured
to another driver in the past year. Five percent of women had followed another
driver very closely or aggressively, and 1% had forced another motorist to
pull over or pull off the road. The report also found that "women drivers
were less likely to have any points on their licences than male drivers and
were less critical of other motorists' driving skills." ![]()
